A (mostly) sofa-bound Sunday

No review post today as I’m having a rare lazy Sunday!

I did my long run first thing this morning (meaning that for my pre-2015 self, today would not remotely have counted as a lazy Sunday, but in the midst of marathon training and with the treadmill it feels like a fairly automatic Sunday thing at the moment!). I then spent the afternoon reading.

Some catchup TV this evening to round off the day. Geth and I have been enjoying the BBC’s Back In Time For School, and we’ve just got to the episode about the ’90s – which is obviously a bit weird for us seeing as that’s when we were at school and it’s now being treated as something ‘historical’!

Back to work tomorrow.

An actual Saturday!

I am aware every Saturday is an ‘actual’ Saturday. What I mean by the post title is that it’s been a Saturday at home, meaning that after I got back from parkrun (still slow and meh, but at least I did it), I was able to put my feet up and mindlessly browse the internet all day. I’ve not had a proper Saturday like that in ages!

I’m going to have a similar day tomorrow in order to refresh for the week ahead.

A bit out of sorts today as my editing for clients took longer than expected and so I couldn’t finish off my own editing. I really had hoped to get the editing and pitching of this book done this week, because I didn’t want it to drag on into March, but it can’t be helped – the day job takes priority.

I’m really looking forward to a quiet weekend after a hectic few weeks.
