After a short run this morning (decided on a rest week due to a few aches and pains – I’ll be back doing the longer distances next week), I spent most of the day doing some editing for a client (Masters dissertation season is still chugging along!) and then updating my to-do list/bullet journal, which I’ve been neglecting while I’ve been away.

Back to Slimming World to face the post-holiday music tomorrow morning! I’ve already got lots of ideas for healthy meals over the next few weeks, though, so I should be able to get rid of any gain fairly quickly.

A working Saturday

I’ve spent most of today editing for a client, as a project came in that I won’t be able to do on Monday as I’m otherwise engaged. I wouldn’t normally do day job work on Saturday but I’m not going to complain given that work has been a bit scarce over the last month or so!

I’ve also been putting together some packages of DVDs, CDs, and books to sell on MusicMagpie and the like, continuing with my latest de-hoarding project. It gives us a bit more breathing room upstairs and helps with my stuff-related anxiety. I should have it all out of the house by the end of the month.

Ploughing on with work this evening in the hope that I can get it finished tonight!

One job application (for a magazine copy-editing position) and four submissions (for my working-on-it-since-2011 pirate novel) sent out today! I’m glad that’s the last of the batch done and I can start concentrating on getting some other projects finished at long last.

No New Hits Friday post today because…there weren’t any new hits in the chart, which is unusual.

Still appreciating having the internet back. Lots of listening to music this evening as a result!

No Music Video Monday post today as I’m busy with my non-blog writing this week. There’s lots of projects I want to get finished by the end of July!

I also had some day job work to do today, which was good. As I mentioned the other day, the summer so far has been a bit sluggish business-wise and I’m almost looking forward to the annual busy period that always happens around August/September.

In the meantime, though, I’m making the most of having time to get on with my own writing. Same again tomorrow.
