Phone Box Thursday: Warburton Bridge Road, Warrington

Mum and Dad have been travelling around England and have sent me a veritable haul of phone box pictures, so I’ve got lots to share over the next few months!

This first one is from near Warburton Bridge and appears to be located slightly off the road in a car park.

This phone box is empty and missing a few panes of glass, but the paint appears to be quite well-kept. Nicely framed among the trees too!

Phone Box Thursday: Biggar Road, Libberton

Mum and Dad found me another phone box in rural Scotland last week.

Some interesting stuff going on with the paintwork here. The red exterior looks sad and neglected (common for rural boxes) but the frames round the glass panels have been painted white at some point (over a decade ago, judging by Google Street View). I don’t think I’ve seen one like that before!

Phone Box Thursday: British Motor Museum, Gaydon

Bill sent in a photo of this shiny museum piece at the weekend!

Google Street View has some images from inside the museum, which shows us that the phone box was in a different place last year. I think it looks better in its current location. Nearly as shiny as the cars!

Another phone box from Scotland next week.
