Here’s another box we found on my unexpected birthday detour.

This one still has a phone in and is outside a pub. I wonder if it sees much use?

This was a birthday phone box for me! We were travelling back home to Newcastle from Edinburgh and got diverted due to an incident on the A1. New routes = new phone boxes to find.

This one is a defib box – always a good reuse.

A fun revisit today to the Call Lane phone box…

We revisited it in October 2023 to find it now has Asterix illustrations on it! The other side remains a cash machine. Fun-looking and functional 🙂

Found another nice phone box duo when we were in Leeds last October.

(Coordinates 53°79’99.0″N, 1°54’71.5″W.)

One of them has a phone inside. The other has a broken/missing phone with a hanging receiver!

An interesting Leeds revisit next week.

We finally finish this Welsh series with a privately-owned phone box. Thanks to Mum and Dad for finding all of these phone boxes last September.

This is an old farmyard near to where Dad’s childhood holiday caravan park used to be, now a private property. This box is not in its original location – Dad says there was never a phone box there in the past. It does look nice though!

Here’s another from Wales – a slightly off-road one.

There is an actual phone in this one! Maybe it’s used by caravan park patrons.

Here’s another one from Conwy, down on the quayside this time. I’ve featured this box before – good to see it’s still housing a defibrillator (with appropriate Welsh translation on the sign)!

It does now appear to have a ‘not in service’ sign inside though.

A nice duo today!

One of the two boxes still has its traditional use, with a phone inside. The other has been converted into a cash machine, but still also has a phone on the outside of the box.

Here’s another Welsh phone box.

(Coordinates 53°21’63.0″N, 3°25’05.0″W.)

This is another defibrillator box as of September 2023, but a fairly new one – as recently as March 2023 it was an information box, according to the Street View image linked above!
