A fairly early post today – I was awake at six (this is happening a lot recently, which is not like me!) and so was able to get up and get my work done nice and promptly. Have been getting on with a few admin tasks this afternoon and am now going to retreat back into my escapist videogame world.

I didn’t get everything I wanted to do today done (partly due to booting up Puzzle Pirates for the first time in seven years…oops), but the stuff I did do has made me feel a bit better. I went for my run this morning, which means I’ve just got one more to do before the GNR, and I got some admin done that I’d been putting off for a week. I also got a bit of editing done, as some work for clients has come in this week.
In general it’s going to be a quiet week, so I’m hopeful of getting everything done…provided I can resist the lure of the videogames!

I’m still not a hundred percent at the moment, but I am very happy that it’s the first day of the part of the year ending in ‘-ber’. I’ve not stuck my head out the door yet, but I will be getting up and going for my last longish run before the GNR tomorrow, so there’s that.
Have had another videogaming and reading day. Hopefully this weekend will have refreshed me enough that I’ll be able to get some good work hours in during the week.
