Shrove Tuesday and St David’s Day fall on the same day this year, apparently for the first time since 1960. Geth was hopeful that this would mean we could have both pancakes and Welsh cakes today, but I think that would be a little excessive. We’ve got some nice daffodils on the mantelpiece that will do for the latter celebration.

Back out on the roads this morning…
…because the weather couldn’t have been more different from yesterday! Lovely and mild out there today – I went for a walk in the afternoon too.
Work has been quiet today so I managed to get most of my admin and writing jobs done in the afternoon. I also made a ton of Shrove Tuesday pancakes this evening! Hoping that they’ll fuel tomorrow morning’s run nicely.

I went for a long sleep-inducing run in the sort-of storm today…
…and since then have just been chilling out on the sofa and eating a lot. 1000+ calorie burn for the win 😀 Geth tried out a new recipe for banana pancakes after I got home, which I think is going to be our new go-to for late post-run breakfast on Sundays.
No day job work scheduled tomorrow so I’m hoping for a productive day getting some admin done!

A bit of a day off today, which has been nice. I did my Tuesday morning recovery run, went to the hairdresser, and then did a few things in town.
