The phone in this one is quite modern – it must have been replaced relatively recently, so maybe this one still sees a bit of use.

You can see there’s still a phone in this one, which often isn’t the case in big cities!

This poor box is a bit tatty 🙁 but does have a notice inside asking if anyone in the community wants to adopt it. Hopefully there’ll be a happy ending!

Good news about this phone box – it’s now serving a useful purpose as a book and seed exchange:
I’m really pleased about that as this phone box looked like it wasn’t long for this world when last visited in 2020.

Here’s one near Loch Ness that Mum and Dad found on their way back from Orkney.

This phone box has some interesting contents. In addition to retaining its phone, it also has a jar of pickled onions and a visitor’s book (which Dad signed).
Here’s one that Mum and Dad found at the fossil museum in Orkney!

It’s in the yard of the museum, which perhaps makes it an exhibit!

A slightly tatty one from Orkney today.

This one has no door (though it did a couple of years previously, as can be seen in the Street View image linked above). It could do with a bit of TLC, but it does have a phone in!
